Tasty food, handy location, excellent service. The meat was good quality and there was plenty of it (not always the case with Thai and Chinese restaurants!).
The service was friendly, welcoming and attentive.
Doesn't get the full 5 stars because of the canteen style tables. Canteen style works for Wagamamas because no-one expects to go there for a cosy intimate meal and their prices reflect that. At this type of restaurant I would not want people sitting right next to me. -

After hearing a friend rave about Pin Petch, and saying that it was much better than Thai Square, we were eager to try it out.
I have to preface my review by saying that in Australia, Thai food is to us what Indian food is to England. Generally cheap and cheerful but always tasty.
Pin Petch's decor and atmosphere is cheery enough, the staff were polite and attentive, and our food seemed to arrive within minutes of ordering. We ordered our usual vegetarian dishes: papaya salad, vegetarian pad thai, and a mild veggie dish Tofu, vegetables and cashews (to accommodate our three year old. Unfortunately though the food was uninspiring. The papaya salad was good (but then it just needs to be fresh and spicy and I'm happy). The pad Thai was wet, the noodles a little over soaked, and generally not great. The cashew veggies were bland and quite ordinary. -

Had their set lunch menu. The starter was very nice, freshly prepared.
For the main we have the noodle soups. The taste was very much average, and the quantity was on the small side. Lots of liquid, not much noodles or meat.
We ended up having to go elsewhere for dessert to fill up. -

A lovely location down a quiet alley near the Cathedral.
The food was excellent and I'll definitely go back sometime soon. -

I have eaten here a number of time withs friends. We have always enjoyed it. Food always good as is the service. Excellent location for town, varied menu always fresh and tasty. Good veggie options, highly recommend.
